I offer affordable professional press release writing and editing options, whether you need a press release written from scratch, to simply having an existing draft proofread or line edited. Please review the available options below:

Press Release Writing - $179 / press release

One page press release (300-500 words including boilerplate and summary) will be drafted from scratch, with all requested details provided by the client. Service includes the crafting of a news angle (when not provided by the client), writing of the release, and minor edits as per the client’s request.

The turn-around for press release writing is generally 48-36 business hours (orders placed after 5:00pm US Eastern time count as being placed the morning of the next business day). A rush fee of $50 is added for any requests required within 24 hours, over most US holidays (such as Easter, New Year’s Day, and the 4th of July), or for releases required over a weekend. A rush fee of $100 will be added for any orders required over the Thanksgiving or Christmas holidays.

If a client demands more than two significant edits (change of story angle, addition of a large amount of background not originally made available to me, etc.), the appropriate editing rates will apply in addition to the standard writing rate.

Press Release Rewrite or Major Edits - $99 / press release

A rough press release draft (one page draft with basic news, relevant background, and contact info) must be submitted by the client. Service includes proofreading plus working or re-working a news angle, and larger formatting and re-write issues (such as adding a boilerplate if there isn’t one, adding a researched quote, or rearranging all information for flow and news value).

Press Release Proofreading & Minor Edits - $59 / press release

Full press release draft (one page draft, nearly ready for publication, including news angle) must be submitted by the client. Service includes basic proofreading for spelling and grammatical errors, minor format changes, minor edits (rewriting no more than a few sentences - no content gaps), and optimizing the press release headline or summary.

NOTE: Payment must be received and cleared prior to work beginning on any press release writing or editing order. Contact jennifer.mattern@jhmattern.com with details to be invoiced for an order. Payments can be made online through Paypal, e-check, or credit card (e-check and credit card payments are processed via Paypal), or by check or money order.

5 Press Releases (prepaid) - $670 (a savings of $225!)

Please review details in the “Press Release Writing” service description above. This prepaid discounted package allows clients to pre-order a set of five press releases to be used in the 45-day period following payment.

10 Press Releases (prepaid) - $1250 (a savings of $540!)

Please review details in the “Press Release Writing” service description above. This prepaid discounted package allows clients to pre-order a set of ten press releases to be used in the 45-day period following payment.

NOTE: Full payment must be received and cleared (Paypal, credit card via Paypal, e-check via Paypal, check, or money order) prior to work beginning on the first press release in any bulk package. The 45-day period for press release writing packages will begin the day the order clears and work begins. Any money for press releases not used within the 45 day limit from a prepaid package are not refundable. Prepaid press release clients’ work will be schedule prior to that of single-order clients.
